About Adina
Dr. Adina M. Yoffie is an an experienced editor, writer, and coach living in New York City. She will help you edit and polish many types of academic and non-academic work, such as: articles and books; theses and dissertations; essays; MBA, law-school, medical-school, and residency applications; and reports. Her specialty is academic editing in the Humanities and Social Sciences. She is fluent in Hebrew and proficient in German and Latin.
A dynamic and versatile tutor, Adina taught history and writing at Harvard and New York Universities for over ten years. She now tutors private clients for all History and Literature AP Tests, and in academic subjects such as History, English, Writing, German, Hebrew, and Judaic Studies. She also offers college counseling, with particular focus on college essays. She firmly believes in building a relationship with a student and family, and in personalizing her lessons and strategies for each student's specific needs. Tutoring is available in person in Manhattan and remotely.

She has published in the leading journals of her field and has received numerous prestigious fellowships, such as a Fulbright Award to Germany and an American Council of Learned Societies New Faculty Fellowship.
